Kamakura Takano’s tote bags are handmade by craftsmen in Japan.
It is the most popular item whose pattern has been continuously modified for
improvement, over the past 55 years since the company founded, and a total of
more than 15,000 units have been sold.
It is filled with ingenuity to help you look elegant.
By using the turned edge technique, folding back the edge of the carefully
skived leather to sew in everywhere, we have achieved both lightness and
durability as well as a soft touch feeling.
Side gussets are cut as single pieces at leather cutting to be sewed to the main
body at assembling, so that the bag can maintain its silhouette without losing
its shape even when a lot of items are put inside.
The clasp at the top keeps the mouth of the bag closed for safety even when
heavy items are put inside or even if the bag is knocked over. The interior
compartment is detachable to be used as a clutch bag. The size is A4, big
enough to store documents and a small PC inside.
